I go to JB almost every week whenever possible. I have also been to JB on different days and times at the Woodlands checkpoint.  Here are some of the best times to travel to JB by bus that I have experienced.  The best time to travel to JB from Singapore -weekdays noon  -weekends noon -Saturday 11am e-gate queue is short (I usually come at this time after work) -Sunday mornings The worst time to travel to JB from Singapore (please avoid evenings!)  -Friday 5pm-8pm -Weekdays 6pm -Saturday 9am Riskier time to travel to JB from Singapore -Friday after 10pm as bus intervals are lesser and slower -You might risk getting stuck at the checkpoint if there are no more buses Worst holidays to go to JB from Singapore -March school holidays (2nd-3rd week of March) -Good Fridays (avoid the Thursday before Good Friday as it can take 4 hours. If you still want to go to jb, go on Friday early morning 6am-9am instead.) -Vesak Day + long weekend -Chingay (around 1 March 2024) because of roadblocks  Tran

10 Must-try food at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Here are 10 Must-try food in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam We mainly ordered food from restaurants for food hygiene purposes. Eat street food at your own risk!  1. Pho  Pho is rice noodles with rich beef broth. Most places sell the broth with beef and rarely chicken. It is eaten with lime, basil, mint, onions, and coriander. The locals eat this as breakfast. It usually costs about 60,000 VND a bowl/SGD 3-4/bowl. We ate pho at  Pho Quynh ,  Hello Saigon Restaurant , and  Phở Việt Nam (District 1). I prefer the pho from  Pho Quynh  because the broth is rich.  Pho at Michelin Pho Viet Nam 2. Banh Mi  Vietnamese people adapted the baguette from the French into their national dish.  Baguette is commonly eaten for breakfast here. I did not take a photo of the Banh Mi I ate along the streets to prevent phone-snatching so here is a photo of Banh Mi at the supermarkets.  Banh Mi at the supermarket 3. Bun Cha   Bun cha originates from Hanoi. Bun cha consists of grilled fatty pork, rice noodles, and
