It's my first time at Haidilao and it was a good experience :) The waitress was attentive and initiative in helping us to order and prepare food. For soup bases, we ordered the popular Sichuan mala and fish collagen soup . We chose to have a less oily mala soup base. The mala soup was mouth-watering and heavenly paired with black pork. The fish collagen soup was rich and nutritious.  A robot server!  We ordered the signature shrimp paste, black pork, pork belly, ling ling juan and tofu skin. I highly recommend the shrimp  paste 虾滑. The waitress offered to cut the shrimp paste into the soup and she was really good at it.  Soon enough, I said the secret code 我朋友今天生日 and she gave us a bowl of longevity noodles.
