Hakone Itinerary: Daytrip from Tokyo with Hakone Free Pass (2023)

We got a 2 day Hakone Free Pass here from Klook.  The Free Pass includes the train trip to Odawara, Tozan Train, Ropeway, Cable Car, Ropeway, Cruise ship, and buses.  To redeem this pass for a physical ticket, head to Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center at Shinjuku station.  There are signboards to lead you to Odakyu Sightseeing Station.  The staff were fluent in English. They gave us 2 physical Hakone free passes easily redeemed from the Klook app.  From Shinjuku station, the free pass allows you to enter the train station to take the Odakyu Line from Tokyo to Odawara. However, we didn't know this so we bought two additional one-way tickets to Odawara. You have to show the pass to the station master. Alternatively, you can take the Romance-car. We started our trip around 9-10am.  Map from https://www.hakonenavi.jp/international/en/around  At Odawara station, take the Hakone-Yumoto line to Hakone-Yumoto station.   Hakone-Yumoto line A map on the train  From  Hakone-Yumoto station, t

If you are looking for a short getaway from Singapore, you can check out Anmon Resorts in Bintan, Indonesia. I chose Anmon Resorts because I wanted to try out glamping! Transport (Bintan Ferry Tickets on Grab) We took the 1110H Bintan Resorts Ferries from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Bandar Bentan Telani and a 1435H Ferry on the way back to Singapore.
