15 Signs that a girl likes you more than a friend

As some of you have requested, this post is out! A girl may like you today but she may not like you the next day. She doesn't want to be seen as an easy prey and hence she gives you mixed signals, so how do you know if a girl likes you or you are being friend-zoned ? Most girls prefer to be chased so if you are not picking up these signals, she may stop being interested in you. 1. She keeps talking to you almost every day.  The more both of you talk, the more likely she likes you. If she gives you one-word responses, then that is not good because she is not interested in you. The conversation should last at least 1 hour long, especially when it stretches to late-night conversations. Do take note that sometimes she may take longer to reply because she doesn't want to be seen as the 'keen' one. I sometimes purposely reply slower because I don't want to look needy.  2. She specially dresses up so she can look her best. If a girl who normally wears t-shirt a...

15 Signs that a guy likes you more than a friend

Recently my friends have been asking me about relationship advice and it seems that Erikson's theory of Intimacy vs Isolation is right. People at the age of 20-39 do look for companionship or else become isolated. How do you know if a guy likes you? These are 15 signs that I personally experience repeatedly and are likely to be accurate. I also did a quick sketch. 1. He remembers the small details about you. He might say that he has seen you wearing this dress before because usually people don't remember what they wear on whichever days. He also remembers what you like and dislike and hence would buy your favourite food to make you happy. I said that I liked the cheese fries from that particular stall and he actually bought it for me to eat. 2. The way he talks to you is different from other friends. Ever notice when a guy speaks softer and pays more attention to you when you are speaking? Guys change their tone when they are speaking to a girl he likes. 3. He tries t...

How to prepare for NUS Nursing Interview

page views as of 6/8/23 Hello prospective nurses, so you want to be a nurse? It may have been a difficult decision to be a nurse and hence I would like to help you and share tips on how to prepare for this interview.  For those currently studying in poly and Alevel, study well so you will not have to go for this interview.  What are the chances of entering NUS Nursing?  Most people think that Nursing is very easy to get in because of the low IGP score and nurses are in high demand. As long as you are sincere, it is high likely that you get in. If your IGP is below 10 percentile, no worries because you can still get in.  Fun Fact: In 2017, there were 2200 applications and 235 people were accepted into the course. This is  10.6% of the people who applied. Nus Nursing acceptance rate thus is 10.6% but it is expected to rise due to the high demand for nurses.  When was the interview? I was scheduled for a nursing interview in the first week of A...

NUS Module Review: LAB1201, LAB2201 Bahasa Indonesia

What is Bahasa Indonesia? Bahasa means Language. Bahasa Indonesia is Indonesian Language. This is a NUS Language module. Why is it important to know a module review?  You are going to take a module for a semester, at least 3-4 months and you want to make sure that you are making the right choice. I had to ask my seniors for advice and their textbooks. I barely knew these seniors but I had to be thick-skinned just to ensure my grades are okay. Why learn Bahasa Indonesia? Bahasa Indonesia is relatively similar to Malay. It is important to speak Malay in my career as there are many older Singaporeans who can speak Malay. There are also Malay-only speaking patients and it would be frustrating if we do not know what they want. Moreover, Indian and Chinese speaking patients can also speak Malay. This module has no exam, is fun and can be easy to score. Why not just learn Malay? The bidding points required to enter Malay module is very high (1000+points) and the bell curve is ve...
